Default Question: If I were to buy EITHER an APR snub mount or an AWE DTS, which one should I get?

First of all, what would be the total cost of each of them, including installation? I know that a snub mount costs a fraction of the price of a DTS, but that it takes a while to install (and I definitely would not attempt to do it myself). I'm trying to get rid of the "elastic band" feel in the transmission at low speeds when I let go of the throttle.

By the way, Innovator, you can't answer. Hehe JK JK

Default The snub mount install doesn't *seem* bad. Still waiting to do it until it warms up some.

BlitzKrieg is right, they do different things, but both affect the final "feel" of the transmission.

I'm not really sure it is any easier to put on the DTS than the snub mount -- both look to take about an hour or hour and a half, and at least the snub mount doesn't include directions like "unbolt the engine".

I have the snub mount waiting to go in, but haven't found a local shop open on the weekend (when I can do it), and its been too cold to put it in.

Default Did you read donp's write-up? It might help answer some of your questions.

As for costs, I paid around $100 total (parts and labor) for the APR snub mount.

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng29.shtml</a

Default if they both control driveline movement, as their respected manufacturers say they do,

I would disagree with those who replied saying they do different things. I would get the DTS first though.

Default Snub mount first. Its only $50 and there are no safety issues.

Then if you want more do the bar.

How hard to install the Snub Mount? As easy as the DTS?
