tires for the Chicago winter. Luke at the Tire rack talked me into 235x45's because the tire brand performs better in wet and snow than what I ordered and this brand doesn't come in 225x45. However, I'm concerned about clearance. Does anyone have 235x45's on stock S4 wheels on a lowered car?

Depends how lowered the car is, it shouldn't rub much if at all.

If they do rub, you can always use spacers... H&R make 5mm, 8mm and higher
