Question for the thinkers: Ground strapping for the coilpacks:
Did my plugs last night in preparation for the Stg3 stuff. Our coilpacks have +/- leads and an ignitor lead. If I were to use an old musclecar trick like groundstrapping the heads/block at the corners or even directly to each coil I cannot see how the V could get any better(insulated and seperated leads to the plugs). I guess the plug base could benefit slightly with more continuity but not like on some other direct-grounded engines. This is disregarding the conductivity of aluminum vs iron...
Any thoughts/feedback appreciated.

Well, being as the coilpacks can be considered independent circuits...
You could strap one and take voltage measurements/logs/etc and see if any advantage over the other cylinders can be measured.
I can't see any downside, that's for sure!

True, didn't consider that =-)
Was disappointed though to see the ground wire to the coils and not off the valve cover/head. Guess I'll do some make-shift stuff to one of the coils and see what happens. Logging on a stock ECU is teh suck though. Everything works lol.
