Question for those that have had bad MAF's.
Need help diagnosing a problem that went away for a week or so and now has returned. No boost over 4/10 bar and very rough idle. Are these the typical DTC's for a bad MAF?
2 DTC's Found:
17538 - Fuel Trim: Bank 2 (Mult): System too Lean
35-00 - -
17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
35-00 - -
What symptoms did you experience?
Would the car run better with the MAF unplugged?
TIA

You can't change from one to the other :-( They are too different...
well, I'm sure you "can".. but it's extremely non-trivial...
Yes, Bosch in the MY2000's and some MY2001's...

Well, I cleaned it and it runs fine now. Let's hope it stays that way
BTW, when I removed it, there were bugs in the screen before the sensor. Seems the air filter wasn't set right when I reinstalled it for the new plugs I put in a few weeks ago. There was a gap on one side. Maybe it was just some bug guts stuck on the sensor? :-)
