Question on turbo upgrade

Question on turbo upgrade
I know this has been talked about and yes I have been searching for some time now.
If I do the following mods:
S4 (2000 model)
- Cat back exhaust
- bpv's
- tbb
- chip (k03 software)
- cold air partition with air filter
- RS4 I/C's
- RS4 clutch
Say I want to upgrade to K04's, can I get away with:
- K04's with intake piping
- new APR chip for K04
- FUEL --> Can I get away with just FPR or do I need to get new fuel pump and injectors?
I only plan on running mild boost (16-18 psi)
Also do I have to get new dump pipes for K04's to fit or will they fit on stock dump pipes?
Thanks
Rob
Ps. Modding Audi's isn't cheap in Australia

All you'll need for the turbo upgrade is K04's/piping. However,
you'll really want down pipes as well. Piggie pipes (or hollowed out pre-cats w/ relocated 02 sensors) are nearly as good. Also a 5 bar FPR (or crushed 4 bar), MBC, and a Throttle Cut Defender. That will allow you to run up to ~17psi on stock fueling. What will you be running for software?

Thanks, So the stock fueling with cope no prob's with
16-18 psi boost (with MBC?? Should I as a bare minimum upgrade fuel pump?
"What will you be running for software?"
That leads me to my next question..
If I already have APR chip for K03's, where can I go from here?
Is there an APR chip for K04's and can it be custom tuned on a dyno??
Thanks

i would recommend the upgraded fuel pump, but it's not 100% necessary
if you're going to go with the K04 chip from APR, then you'll need to run whatever injectors, MAF, ect... that they require in their kit.
You can run the K03 chip with the K04's and stock fueling (with 5bar fpr) though (called stage 3-). When you go stage 3 fueling, if you like tweaking, you can continue to run the K03 chip with some tweaking. If you'd rather just install the software and not worry about any tweaking, then a stage 3 software with the appropriate fueling components would be better suited for you.

you can do a certain amount of tweaking
using lemmiwinks which allows some adjustment. (but it only allows adjustment for the entire rpm range so say if you increased timing by 3%, it's going to increase timing 3% across the entire rpm range)
If you bought K04 specific software then you wouldn't need to re-tune after the K04 install. (Provided you are using all of that software's recommended components)

I C.. The more and more I look at this
For what I want (260hp at all 4 on the dyno)I'm leaning towards the K03/K04 hybrid, because:
- I can keep down pipes stock
- keep K03 chip and adjust
- minimal fuel upgrades required
- get the top end power I'm after.
The only thing that worries me is reliability of the K03/K04 hybrid..
