Hi all,
I'm taking in my '01 S4 for its first scheduled maintenance and wanted to know what they normally do aside from change oil. Reason I ask is cuz my car feels kinda slow, and was curious if most dealer techs inspect the turbos as part of the normal routine. I also got a tire bubble to fix, and wanted to ask about reprogramming key to open/close windows. Tx for any comments.

Its up to you if you want to switch to synthetic oil. If you do want synthetic oil, bring your own. The dealer oil are more expansive, and they are more likly to give you the wrong grade.

As for car feeling slow.. you need to give us more detail. A number of things could be wrong. Make sure the tech plug his computer in to check for error codes. And while he has the computer pluged in, have him/her reporgram the door locks too.
