Default questions for those who drive in the snow ....

what is a safe ride height ?
I am in Ca here and was planning to head to the sierra with the audi. The car is at pretty low about 25-26 inches fender to ground on 19s.
I was planning on putting my stocks back on but would i need to be a certain height to be safer?
It is also not expected to be be snowing while I am up there this weekend.
Thanks in advance.

Default If you're switching to stock perfomance tires.....

be very careful. Snow isn't the only limiting factor for performance tires. It's temperature as well. At < 50F performance summer tires are like hockey pucks. Just because there is no snow on the road doesn't mean traction is good. Rent a car with all seasons. Quattro doesn't stop you!
