Quick question about X on a tip

I just got another ecu with X chip in it and was wondering if its normal that it stutters when accelerating hard, but shifts smooth during casual driving

What do you mean by "stutters?" Are you referring to the 4-5-4 upshift/downshift? That's normal, and

it's called "gear hunting."

i think youre right about the gear hunting but it happens during 1-2 and 2-3...

if gear hunting is when it shifts up, down, and back up thats what it feels like

OK, if it's happening during 1-2 and 2-3, that's definitely not normal.

Sounds to me like you have small boost leak i had similiar symptoms...try pressure testing
