Race mode, Valet mode .... I'd like to see a Warm-Up mode.
How feasible do you think it would be for APR or MTM to add a Warm-Up mode to their chip? One which brings max boost way down until after the oil is warm; then opens up the fun. Something like the M3's steadily increasing redline.

Well, if you can't control your foot, you could just use valet mode....
I was thinking someday these chips will have teenager mode, wife mode, you know, varying boost for various conditions.

I'm easy on the gas and keep the tach under 3k until the oil temps are up. I don't have a boost gauge, but read someone's post claiming the pressure starts building a lot sooner than you would think. Just seems that some sort system smarts would let you 'safely' get more out of the 2.7 while waiting for car to wake up.
