Default Radio died, this worked

Thought I would collect this info into one spot for the next guy:

'01 S4, my radio was working fine one day. Shut it off, and a few hours later went driving down the road and noticed my radio was dead. Popped the fuse panel (driver's side of dash, behind door) off with a pocket knife and pulled the 20A raido fuse for ~15-30 seconds, crossed my fingers, put it back in and the radio actually came back to life! Just had to put in the radio SAFE mode code and gtg. Thanks for the help Audiworld!!!

Default Haha dude the same exact thing happened to me. I changed all the fuses and checked

the little box under the CD changer. However I don't think that did anything at al. lol oh well... Eventually after taking the radio out a few times and unplugging the fuse and putting it back I'm like 400 times it fixed itself. Haven't had a problem for a while now. Didn't find a real solution, it kind of just went away by itself.

Let me know if you find a real solution.

Good luck!
