The light for the radio blinks off intermittently but not frequently (once every two weeks that I notice, who knows how often when I'm watching the road). When this happens there is no change in the sound at all. Nor are there any noticeable bumps or other influences that may be jarring a wire in the dash.

I have the premium sound system without a CD Changer. I have had terrible results in the past trying to get a dealer to help diagnose an intermittent problem and am curious to hear about other's experience with Audi in this realm. Thanks!

I'm thinking it's just my eyes and not really the stereo. Have you ever looked directly at it when this has happend and seen it do this or has it always been from peripheral vision?

Mine has always been from my peripheral, so I'm assuming it's just my eyes! ;p

I swear the tach needle twiches too... but I need a co-pilot to confirm..

it's always in the peripheral. My latest conclusion is that it might correlate to a sudden change in contrast from outside of the car (i.e. the sun suddenly shines into the car between some trees at just the right angle, creating the appearance of the dash blinking out).
