Default ran over something, passenger rear, now gas leaks only when filling tank ?

sounded like I ran over a rock, and loud thud. Fuel only leaks when filling, could I have ruptured the fuel line ?

Anyone have pics of the fuel system from the gas cap back?

Thanks for your input

Default you should be able to trace the leak by getting under the car

have you tried that already?

Yes, can't see a leak, but only as I fuel up it drips from the lower back part of wheel well...

Default also can hear a "drip, drip" sound in the tank, (like dropping a rock into a pail of water)..

and when I opened the gas cap, a lot of air pressure was released(full tank) This then made the "drip, drip" sound occur more frequently.

Default Sounds like the filler neck has a crack...

if you only have a leak when you are filling it up. Are you sure it's not leaking while the car is moving (dangerous)? Might be repairable as a DIY if you can directly visualize and access the crack. You can try using SEAL-ALL. Home Depot has it. It fixed a puncture in my tank very nicely and is holding so far. Is your B5 tank plastic like the D2? Good luck...
