Random thought about the b7 rs4 and b6/b7 a4 and s4 owners...
I wonder when, if ever the body conversion will become popular?
I think it will within 2 years.
i think if i ever move away from a b5 it will be a b6 or b7 a4 salvage with oem widebody and a build 2.7t.
heck it could be done failry cheap if you took the time to shop around and wait for deals on the car and bodywork

I dunno. The allure of the B5 widebody is the fact that it can't be bought in the states
Not to mention the B5 RS4 was never made in a sedan. Not so with the B7. Since it is here, a WB B7 A4/S4 is nothing special and it would be much easier to just buy a B7 RS4 if you want the WB look (and considering Audi's amazing resale *sarcasm* it might be just as expensive to buy the B7 RS4). Although since the B7 RS4 Avant is not going to be coming here, people may be interested in widebodying B7 A4/S4 avants. I could definitely see that happening. Not so much with the Sedan though.
One project I would like to see is a b7 RS4 with a modded to sh*t 2.7T in it :-) Now that would be cool.
