Recoding the instrument cluster to make an H-box car run M-box software........
Someone asked me how to do this some time back. I know lots of people are doing it - only posting to add the info to the archives since I found the scrap paper I had the instructions written on as I was cleaning out my office.
So here it is:
Using VAG-COM, go to "instrument cluster"...
Go to channel 60 - adaptation......if it's set to '0' then change it to '1025' and hit save.
You're done.
