Recommended tyre changers in the Hartford/Eastern Connecticut area???

I'm looking for someone with the best equipment who knows how to use it and cares as much about protecting wheel rims as I do.
Oh, and cheap wouldn't be bad either. I have 8 wheels to change. :-)

Landon tire in willi has done a good job for me.
They mounted and balanced my truck tires and rims (33"x12.5" tires on 15"x10" rims) and didn't scratch them up at all. I also had them mount and balance one of RS4 reps (I replaced the tire that had a bubble) and they didn't mess it up. Worth looking into.

They didn't use the sort of equipment that crabs the inside of the rims and puts little claw marks in it? I really hate that. :-/

I checked over everything... I didn't see any damage at all.
There was some sticky grease type stuff, but I think it was just a lubricant they used. At first it looked like a scuff, but it rubbed right off.

Yeah, it is the tyre soap they use...
I don't mind that. I'd rather they used pleanty of lube which makes it easier to put the tyre on. You just have to be patient while it dries before you put any real torque into the wheel else the tyre will spin on the rim. The better installers will chalk-mark the valve location so that they can tell if the tyre spins.

In Europe, it is much easier to find the right equipment ...
and people who know how to use it without damaging the rims.
In the USA, most people don't seem to care about it.
By the way, the Internet is a world-wide forum and not just for the colonies. Maybe it is you that should adopt standard English? :-p

But you said Hartford/East Connecticut. Is there a Connecticut outside the US that I am not aware of
Oh and I totally agree that most people don't seem to care about cars here.
And by the way....We are not a colony! We made our own governement where you can sue someone over hot coffee, our legal system is setup so that the rich and famous can get away with anything, and I can own a assualt rifle to protect myself from rabid squirrels and other threats.....oh, wait....how do we become a colny again?

Yes, there are advantages to being a colonist...
But the British figured out a while ago that colonies were no longer profitable. Alas, the Yankees have yet to learn this. :-p
