So the ECU can take O2 measurements pre and post cat.

Default This just came up somewhere...

I am going to do this instead of relocating the O2s... If I am reading it correctly.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/midatlantic/msgs/119216.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/midatlantic/msgs/119216.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default ? for you... if i get a CEL with non-foulers will moving the bungs

after the cat make the CEL go away or will i need to clear codes with a VAG? im asking becasue i dont have a VAG-COM and i dont want to be driving arround with a stupid CEL if i decide to do non-foulers and they dont work. if i will need to clear codes i'll just play it safe and relocate the O2 bungs. TIA

Default Well, I've never thrown that code, but its just a code.

Many people have VAG-coms and there is actually a list of people who have it. Search the archive for VAG list and see what comes up. You'll be able to find someone in your area to help you out.

If you can drill and weld, relocating the bungs is not that big a deal. You just need to put them in the correct place so they don't interfere with anything and the wires will reach once the pipes are back in. Check out my piggie pipe write up in the AW tech section. There are others out there too.<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng75.shtml">https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng75.shtml</a</li></ul>

Since nothing is changing the O2 value(the cat) between the two, they don't.
