Remind me: Didnt Audi announce some kind of extended warranty program?

I don't know. My service advisor said that there is someone in...
the sales department who is charge of extended warranties. I always get flamed on-line when I asked about it. Consensus seems to be that the extended warranties offered by audi are 3rd party.

you can have the car audi assured. good till 100K.
i've been told it's easier to get a car audi assured if it's still under the factory warranty, but that it can still be done if the car is no longer under the factory warranty. Audi assured is not limited to used cars the dealer sells. They can get your car Audi Assured as well, cost is around $1,200 IIRC.
but i believe it's 2 years or 100k, whichever comes first. not sure on that though.

AKAIK, it covers the same as the audi warranty, but it does not cover
audi advantage. audi advantage is the maintanance policy which covers the wear items. And our actual 4yr/50k warranty covers defective items, or something that goes (non short term wear item). Therefore, I'd guess Audi Assured will only cover unmodified and unaffected parts.
