QUESTION: can i install a FAQ tranny into my s4 which came with an EDU tranny?

i've been in the stasis tranny queue for a loooooong time now and they're still waiting on parts with no eta. =/ i'd much rather go with a stasis rebuild but at this point i cant wait any longer. dont remember what my car looks like. =b and my car's become a permanent fixture at the shop.

i have an early early build MY2000 s4 6speed, believe it was built in late 99, not positive. my tranny code is EDU but the only ones available are FAQ and others. we're talking used/refurb'd trannies here.

i've STFA and everything seems to indicate across the board compatibility .. just wanted to make sure before i pull the trigger.

far from complete? there are only 2 B5 S4 trannies. DSY and EDU. You have an EDU.

DSY = european S4 with oil cooler pump
DGV = RS4 tranny
