Rethreading wheel hub with a tap...possible? Or not a good idea?

Default Possible, one of mine is right now, thanks to a tire shop screwup. If it were all 5 holes, I
probably would worry, but I'm not sweating one.

Default I did it last year...
had a one of the holes stripped on the right front hub. Once I got the correct tap, it took me like 2 minute to rethread it. No problems since then.

Just make sure you use a lot of Tap Magic and the correct size (14M x 1.50). Let me know if you have any trouble locating the correct equip.

I'm planning on doing this myself sometime soon... But got to find the right equipment first.
