Just reinstalled my motor, was adjusting the linkage , and it seems like reverse wont go in, I can feel the shift gate but it seems like in cant go in all the way, it all worked fine outa the car, any ideas or is this just an adjustment and you gota really fine tune it.

You gotta adjust it some more. Shifter should sit basically vertical when in neutral. It's really 3 degrees to the right, and 7 degrees to the rear. If ya get one of those magnetic angle finders at some hardware store... probably no more than 10 bucks-ish.
