VM2 w/resonated tips:
*Performance: Car is very responsive now. Spooling of turbos is almost instantenous. At higher RPM, the car just wants to pull even more. Very noticeable gains in this area. Power delivery is also smoothers (note: I have a GIAC chip)
*Sound: It is louder than stock below 2000 rpm and between 3500-4500 RPM. Outside those ranges the car is very quite. Cruising on the highway between 60-80mph in 6th gear, the car sounded like stock. But when you hit the gas in 1st and 2nd gear, the car really screams. A very deep throaty sound. But the responated tips do their job well, sounds like stock between 2200-3500 & above 4500rpm.
*Installation: IT SUCKS!!! Instruction manual is a must and if Todd at AWE didn't work for 3 hours straight on the damn thing, it would have never worked. Some pipes needed to be cut a bit to fit properly and the sleeves came in wedged in the pipes, which according to UCC, they shouldn't. I am disappointed in UCC with their product quality inspection. But Todd made all work out properly and the tips, only extend about an inch or less.

AWE S-FLO Kit:
The kit seems easy to install but it can be tricky. Todd took some performance testing of before and after and I believe he should post his results soon.

Conclusion:
I think both the exhaust and the S-flo kit complement each other very well and the car seems to benefit more from the power gains posted by the chip. I just wish UCC took care of the VM2 better than this because for $1300 exhaust you expect everything works well from the first time. But I have no regrets in getting the VM2 because I still believe it is probably the best exhaust for the S4 on the market in terms of performance gains.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=4839">Lehigh S4</a>
