Revo ECU upgrade

Revo ECU upgrade
At the waterfest show a couple weekends ago I recieved a brochure from Revo. Apparently they allow you to "flash" your ECU instead of having to lift the bonnet and hardwire to your current ECU. This sounds like a great idea and all, but does it work? Anyone have any dyno charts maybe? They also claim that dealers cannot tell what you have done to the ECU. Can anyone lay claim to any of these statements? Thanks

They don't have any 2.7T code out yet.
They connect using the OBDII port and flash the ECU. There is no actual chip that is soldered or socketed to your existing ECU. The dealer cannot tell through a visual inspection of the ECU, but if the program is there and they drive the car, they will tell.

or is the s4 code finished for directport?
they came on the TT forum boasting about how they have directport...they failed to mention it wasnt available for the TT yet...still no confirmed date.

APR is smooth but it does pull timing like a big dog...
Just two more weeks and I will have the new software with timing!!!!
I agree that there are other good alternatives; I chose APR for its EMCS switching since GIAC hadn't released the IBE chipswitch yet. Otherwise, consider GIAC strongly (no pun intended)...

Re: Revo ECU upgrade
New at the posting thing -- IMHO, I'd go APR. It is my understanding that the new version will be ALOT smoother and just better all around.(v3.4)--I'll let everyone know shortly. Revo...Hmm those guys sound familiar...
