Default Robust waterpump
Just got my 2002 S4 back from Euro Tech who did the 90k service. He showed me my old waterpump which was still in excellent condition as was the T belt.

That's right. 88,900 miles on the original waterpump/t belt. Has anyone gone longer? Besides that, no drips, leaks or cracks.

Default People have gone longer...
but in the last two weeks, two people have blown their TB with ~70K-ish miles on the clock. It just depends on how lucky you think you are....

115k, it still was just fine, but the customer wanted a new one anyways

104,000 and TB and WP still in great shape, just replaced anyway.

Default That is indeed what made me take mine in. I'm going to sell it now so I figured Id get it all done
anyway. In the 928 you can have the same kind of belt/waterpump failure except the waterpumps only last 50k at most.

Hardly longer, had WP replaced under warranty (Assured) sometime in the 40's! Was coming apart.
