Default Rough Idle Solved When Air Mass Meter was Replaced

2000 S4 with 25,000 miles. Air mass meter caused check light to come on so the dealer diagnosed it and replaced it. Noticed smoother idling. Some of you that have the rough idle problem may want to check your air mass meter.

Default Damn, yet another part that fails here and there uh?

You'd think those smart German people would get the clue that you spend less money by providing proven and solid parts than needing to replace them here and there...
Not to mention customer's confidence in their product and engineering.
As it is, it can almost be laughable when you check the list of parts/components that 'tend' to go bad.

Default Or check your intake valves for leaks...

One of mine did leak. On with a new cylinder head. After 750 miles.
