RPM Fluctuation Question
Just a quickie for anyone who cares to offer a suggestion...
I was cruising tonite and I shifted into 3rd gear and the indicator said it had shifted into 3rd but then there was a small lurch about a split second later(as I think the transmission REALLY shifted into 3rd). Then the RPM guage started fluctuating between 2500 and 1800 RPM (my foot was off the gas). I did not audibly hear fluctuating which I found odd.
It did not happen again after that despite my trying to repeat it.
I'm just wondering if it was a small tranny slip or is my transmission starting to signal the end of of its life. Yeah, its a tip.
