Default Question for ya - I just replaced both o2's (bank 2 was bad) and the bank 1 egt. Also replaced the

coolant temp sensor.

I unplugged the ECU after doing the o2 sensors, but not since I did the EGT.

The problem is that I am spiking to around 12-13psi, and then dropping to 11, and slowly tapering. Boost builds as quick as ever, it just stops at 12-13psi, even when the ambient temps are in the 50s-60s.

Do you think I need to unplug the ECU again?

I did a quick pressure test and didn't notice anything obvious.

What makes me think that it's not a boost leak is the fact that it spikes, and them drops, and then tapers like normal, just 4-5psi lower in all respects.

Any ideas off the top of your head? I'm going to VAG the car again tonight hoping there are no codes. :/

Default Also BTW, it started doing this before I replaced anything, and I had codes for the o2 and EGT.

Also, boost does not fluctuate anymore. (it fluctuated rather badly with the bad EGT in there.)

This along with my busted TRE's and noisy rear brakes is why I am "GIMPY". :/

Default Try clearing codes and doing a throttle adapt

If it still does it let me know.

And the boost curve was fine when you originally had it flashed?

Default Roger...I'll do that tonight along with resetting the ECU...

Yea everything was perfect when Mark originally flashed it...from when we went for the first ride with his laptop plugged in until parts started going bad...even after i had codes for the o2 and EGT it still boosted fine...but then it started doing what it's doind now.

I'll give you an update tonight after I get home from work.

Thanks Frank!
