RS4 Clutch Woes...
well I jusy got back from the drag strip...
with my old stock clutch I could cut 1.8 60fts all day long..
with the new RS4 clutch I hit one 1.88 and all the rest where 2.0 and higher....
one run I burnt the clutch up... to much RPM
3000-3400 rpm I bog... any higher I slip....
I did switch from some winter radial that came with the car to a toyo proxy 4 so my tire is a little grippier..
also the clutch seems to engabe higher up, is there anyway to adjust the engagement?
anywho, not happy with this clutch at all...
I got the clutch from ECS, and I am half wondering if it even is RS4 stuff....

that sucks..I don't launch with mine very much but it isn't very good for the strip IMO...
However Bigbluemachine with the sportec stg3+ car does crazy launches on his somehow. I would go clutchmaster or AWE for frequent strip use but money doesn't grow on trees ofcourse.

did you resurface/grind the flywheel when you changed it?
Also, I thought the RS4 kit includes oem clutch
with the RS4 pressure plate. So if you only did the clutch disc, you aren't getting a better setup. Hopefully, once its broken in it will get better.
