Rumford Maine Rally ?

Uh, yeah, I was there...
Finished 30th out of 121 starters. Not bad, but not great. Dust was a major issue, and we had to literally stop on a couple of stages because we were blinded by the dust.
I was the co-driver wearing a dust mask. Red and White 1988 Toyota Celica AllTrac.
Perhaps you saw us beat Karl Sheible and his factory backed Subaru WRX...

Thanks. I think we brought back 100 lbs of Maine dust...
We're in the Philadelphia area, an easy 9 - 10 hour tow to Rumford.
For your viewing pleasure... We were going so fast the camera couldn't keep up! ;-)

Here is a link to some good ones...
Should be more coming out soon.
Yeah, a Focus bit it on one of the stages. There usually are some nice accidents in rally, although this one seemed to have less attrition than most. Amazing considering the condition of the roads and how competative the event was.
I guess you didn't see the Audi that caught fire.

http://www.onalimbracing.com/2001maine/</a
