Rumor has it that the new M3 will have a turbo charged
engine instead of going to the V8, what do you guys think, I know they are dropping a 380HP turbo in the new 5er..Thats going to be one fast M3 if they follow through with it

The new 5 will have a 320 - 340HP N/A v8 as top of the line, and the new M5 will be 500HP v10, and the new M3 is going to modified v8 of current M5, roughly 400HP, also, the new 6 series will share the same drive train as the new 5 series, and in any case, I haven't heard one rumor, of it being turboed ...
And the M3 is going to be fast regardless, of what they are doing, M has become synonymous with fast ... v8 N/A, v6 turboed, ... it doesn't matter, BMW knows how to make fast cars.
