Hi everybody.

Wanted to see if anybody would have any idea about my problem:

The other night while coming back home I heard and saw a small explosion accompanied by a small cloud of dust (or something) that came from somewhere under the hood. The car lost power immediately but kept running (no white smoke or strange noises at all).

Once I got home I inspected under the hood and was not able to find ONE trace of anything... no oil, no smoke, nothing...

Last night I got to check under the car (took the plastic cover off) and again.. was not able to find anything at all.

I tried to check as many hoses as I could and they all look/seemed ok. The puff came from the right side so I am thinking either the IC or a hose went.

The car idles fine and there is nothing else strange (not even the Engine check light) just barely accelerates (limp mode perhaps??).

I am trying to get the car to the dealer but you know the story. Maybe in 2 weeks and we probably won't have parts... damn...

Any ideas or suggestions will be much appreciated.

That would tell you if you had a loose hose or a whole in an intercooler or something else.

No... Just look under there and see if its not attached to the i/c
