Anyone who has taken delivery checked out accuracy of gas gauge? First full tank of gas trip computer says 20.2 MPG-odometer says 149 miles and gas gauge reads just slightly below 3/4. Tank only holds 16.2 gallons so this does not appear correct. Any thoughts?
Also anyone who has taken delivery or Jon Shafer in my trunk was a small plastic bag with 4 oval shaped about 1 1/2 inch long rubber plugs--any ideas where they go?

Gas gauges will display differently....I think you are ok. I had a fuel sending unit replaced in my A4...and then it was recalibrated...it is ok now.

Steve did Corey let you drive his car yet? If so any impressions compared to mine.
Have you heard anything about the plugs we found in my trunk? I think I have a
slight pull to the right. The gas guage does not appear to be moving-it had gone
lower to just slightly above 1/2 now after about 25 more miles it just below
3/4---going the wrong way unless the more you drive the more gas you have!!!!!

Those plugs go in the "tie-down" slots used to secure the car for transport. They keep debris from getting into the slots. I think they are right behind the front wheels and just in front of the rear wheels.

If you can't find where they go the dealer should put them on for you... they should have installed the plugs during the delivery inspection.
