While I was taking pictures of the Nogaro S4 at Advantage Audi, I noticed a strange slit on the opposite side of the air intake in the engine bay. Anyone know what this is for? I uploaded the picture in the picture poster under the name s4slit it looks as if Audi decided to put this in at the last minute.

This little cover is spring mounted. My best guess is that its for "emergency ventilation" as it would only open with plenty of air pressure?
