S4 Shootout:: AWE et al vs AMS kit, real POWER #'s questions, questions, questions?
Not trying to step on any toes or ruffle any feathers, but after a few days of "sleeping on it", I believe I have some good questions.
Would it be safe to say that the following people & their respective kits: ABD, Ari, SlvrBullet & AWE, Sportec, MTM, Hartman & APR, Bollocks & Torque Factory WOULD or COULD make more power under some different conditions or situations like Josh@ ACHTuning had for his last run??

Josh claims 362.5whp.
Here are my questions (in no particular order) regarding the 362.5 dyno run:
(( guys, these are just questions, I'm not bashing or pimping anyone, so please think & think well b4 you respond ))
1) was the 362.5 run your last run?
2) how long was the car in "cool down mode"?
3) what gear was the run done in?
4) who was driving the car?
5) did anyone touch/adjust the computer?
6) was the air in the room "cleaned" out b4 the run?
7) was 362.5 your official S4 shootout run?
Since Josh claims that AMS kit is good for 362.5, why can't AWE claim higher #'s?
We all know that the week b4 the shootout Ari's car did 378 whp on the same dyno & on Sun (b4 the s/out) the Bullet did 444 whp?
I'm sure we(the buying public) would like some answers, I know I do?
I dont work for or own any AMS, AWE, Sportec, MTM or APR products, at least not yet.

I was there for Josh's run
1) it was his last run out of 4
2) I would say about 7 minutes for the last run
3) do not know
4) do not know about that run, the first 2 runs were done by EC staff and the 3rd run was driven by EC staff and Marc was the passenger.
5) do not know for sure
6) yes the garage was opened up for the last 2 runs then partially closed for the runs
7) I do not know, his first 2 runs were around 350 and the 3rd was 365, then 362 with higher torque then the 3rd run.

I don't recall Josh claiming that's precisely what the AMS kit will do for you if you buy it...
... and put it on your car. That was just his best run of the day.
I don't recall any of the tuners using the S4 Shootout dyno results as proof or a guarantee of what their off the shelf kits will do. Why would they?
There are too many variables like any installed parts that are NOT part of the kit and the fact that the HP/TQ numbers vary from one dyno to another.

Why would AWE claim higher numbers?
Not every car is going to produce the same numbers even with the same hardware. Wouldn't you rather be pleasently surprised by producing a higher number than the kit's claimed value? I guess you can call it a safe guard.

I say all the Super S4s should line-up and do a few pulls from 5-130mph. Whoever is in front at the end of 130mph = WinnAr!
