S4 is a slow car...(put on flame protection)........
Ok, maybe I didn't know how to drive a turbo car since this is my first turbo car. On my old 2.8 A4 I have a confident of launch the car from any stand still point or any speed with out worry about win or lost. Today on my way home I tried to race the Prelude some how he able to take off before me, while I am still do the take off, this is also happen to me other day when I asked the guy in the Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo AWD (320HP) race with me. In both cases the engine seem to bog down badly. Can someone give me a lesson or perhaps point me to some racing school around NY/NJ/CT

"S4 is slow car".........or you just can't drive the car? :P
If you're bogging, then why not drop the revs a bit lower and slip the clutch more?
Even if you bogged, I can't see how the car would be slower than an A4 2.8, but that's just me.
What RPM's are you doing your launches at, and how exactly are you letting the clutch out?

one of the reasons why I prefer the Tip, just one pedal to push
and its not all that much slower in the real world. Although a 6spd does offer more farvegnugen (sp?).
You probably did not have enough RPMs when you launched. I'm sure they guys and gals here will give you some tips.

Sorry, you're a lost cause.
I think I need to start a racing school to teach people how to street race.
since the road racing market is saturated, I think teaching people how to street race would be my last hope.
Oh, and technique on how to set up races would be included.
So Exxess, are you interested in being the first graduate of Pat L.'s Street Racing School?
