Default S4 with Tiptronic ??

i am a little confused about the lineup for the S4. I have been all over the dealerships looking for information on the delivery date on S4 with tiptronic transmissions. Interestingly the shipping information states that the S4 will ship standard with tiptonic and have a 6 speed option. However the dealerships all said that the only cars they are expecting are 6 speed manuals.

hmmmm.... So I am wondering does this vehicle have more power than the tiptronic transmission (that Audi uses) can handle. I have heard rumors that the tiptonics are not cabable of handling the torque and power that a turbo charged engine is cabable of delivering.

If any body has any information on this it would be much appreciated.

Both the A8 (310 hp) and the 4.2 A6 (300 hp) exclusively use the Tip!
