I'm considering as a future mod, ahem, a 1997ish Porsche C4S. Anyone have any thoughts on the reliabilty/performance of such a car. Anybody think I could use it as a daily driver, including on snow, with blizzaks of course.

a little over a decade ago. At the time, they took 944turbo, 928S4, and a 911turbo into the northern regions of Canada for cold weather testing. All the cars were on snows and it was so cold out the power steering fluid almost froze. They also had to keep the engines running like diesels. I don't recall what issue the story was in but if they were doing that type of testing then I can't imagine they would've lessened it any.
