Default S4 Wheel Question/Information

<center><img src="http://l664.myspace.com/00115/46/67/115067664_l.jpg"></center><p>Sorry for the newbie question, but at least I got the right forum this time.

I just picked up a 2000 S4. I'm going to be getting some rims for it, but I wanted to get a little more information. My car is slighlty lowered so I don't want to get anything that will rub.

If I go with an 18" rim what offset do I want to look for?

Also what MM are the wheel studs on my car? 12, 14? Would I have to change those out?

Do you have to run spacers to clear the brakes?

Any tips or info you have that could help me out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Default offset and spacers to clear brakes depend on rim width and design. our cars don't have

studs, they have wheel bolts. you'll probably need new ones since most aftermarket wheels need conical bolts, but the stock are spherical.

i'd say search the archives, but the search sucks. google the archives.

are you saying you have studs on your car (some people have converted) or you're not sure?

Default no studs on stock s4. offset does not depend on wheel diameter, only width.

stock is et45. most aftermarket wheels for the s4 are et35.

Default Shoot me an email ** edit **...

I tried to retrieve my login stuff for the "other" forum, but it didn't recognize me. So I signed up for a new account, but never received my confirmation email that completes the process (done early in the day yesterday, no email as of this morning).

Can you hook me up?

Default "slightly lowered"...I'd call it slammed based on that pic!

Or maybe it's just the angle ;-)
