My wife and I just back from a trip ot London and Paris, a couple of observations (car observations, of course...)

London:
* Everybody must be rich (we saw plenty of apartments going for 2-4000 pounds/week ~ $3200 -$6500...hello?)

* The Brits love their cars. Non-stop head turning, more Ferarri's then I've seen in the past year in Boston, tons of Porsches, MB's, Lambo's, BMW's, Aston-Martins, Jags (including a, what was it ..XK2000?)...and lots of Audi's.

* A/S3's and TT's are very popular

* carbon fiber in the S4 looks awesome in person

* S8 is quite the beast in the flesh

* I'm pretty sure I saw an S6 Avant(could this be right?)

* Don't step of the curb unless you are sure you can make it to the otherside, because you are fair game.

Paris:
* the cars got smaller, the food got better, and there was a lot of smog

* only 2 S4's sighted

* The A2 will do real well

* the French drive really agressively, where as the Brit's drive really fast
