Is the S6/S6 Avant coming to the US? (nt)

AoA has had several S6 4.2 Avants here in Colorado for emmission testing and DOT compilance evaluations.
We see soon to be models all the time at our Denver area dealers. The average Joe walks right on bye, and not noticing althought.
Audi Germany will use one of the three local dealership as home plate and the mountains as a "real world" test tract.
The word around the dealership's sales campfire is "the S6 4.2 avant tiptronic" is coming to a dealership near you. As an aside, the 4.2 avant and the S6 4.2 avant have been available in Europe since its debut of 9/99. I've got several pic's from the IAA show of the two cars and would send'em to ya if ya would like. e-mail me directly.

The appearance of the S6 4.2 Avant would put a significantly different light on my imminent purchase of the S4 Avant. I'd like the extra room of the bigger wagon, and really, really enjoyed the test I took in the 4.2 sedan.
Perhaps I should just take a 2 year lease on the S4 and replace it with the S6, which should actually be here by then.
