S8 rear rotor.. would this be ok with stock front brakes? or will it unbalance the (MORE)

Good and bad...
First off, you can't just run the S8 rear rotor, you need the carriege assembly as well. However, you can use the stock S4 rear caliper (which is the same rear caliper on the S8).
The bad...the sold rotor design transfers a lot of heat to the rear hub, and bearings, so if you're going to spend money, i'd do something that offers better cooling (like a 2 piece vented hat and rotor combination).
If you upgrade your fronts as well, you should retain close to stock brake bias (depending on what front kit you choose).

No problem whatsoever if you use the S8 carriage also to mount the rear S4 caliper. You will have less heat than before as the caliper is spaced away from the hub by about an additional 3/8 of an inch. Very long lasting solution. We have been running that on our race car for two years..Don
