Default Said goodbye to my 99 M3 today.

Sad to see it go but with no regrets about getting the S4.

Lease was up. New Son. Upstate NY winters. I know I made the right decision. I do love my new S4 but.....

While taking it back I was reminded about some of the things I loved about it.
1. Stock exhaust is much more aggressive sounding
2. Instantaneous power
3. While taking a left hand turn onto a back street at about 15mph in first gear I mashed the pedal halfway throught the turn and got slap sideways. After a quick CPR I left a little rubber behind and chirped the wheels through second. Sigh......someone get me some tissues and quick!

I have not been able to get the S4 sideways yet. That's great for safety (mine and everyone elses) but dissapointing from a sheer 'Yeeeehhhaaaaw' perspective.

Then again, I've only had it two weeks and have yet to master this "quattro" thang.

Bring on the snow!

Default Take some off/on hwy ramps at double speed. Get her in a 'quattro' drift and then use 2nd or 3rd

to blast around and out of the turn like no RWD car could ever do. Or go to the mountains after the leaves fall on the road and do some agressive driving. Your chances are much, much better of staying on the tarmac with the S.

Yeehaw factors are just as good albeit different from the M3. Wish I had both...
