seat heater installation?
i bought a used 2000 s4, with no seat heater installed, and i was wondering if there was a way to 'activate' the seat heater without having the dealer do it. in other words, are all the wires and connectors in place, and just the control ***** missing? or are they completely different seats from the cars with the seat heaters? thanks!

Nothing there in the standard seat. You'd need to add both lower and backrest elements, temp/power
switch and power for the elements. The seats are pretty easy to disassemble but adding heat would probably be harder than just replacing the seat with one that has it already... or get some aftermarket ones that have all the controlls and all built into the seat already.
