Default Shift linkage adjustment: Shifter will not stay in 5th gear unless I hold it there for a second.

Otherwise it pops back to neutral. 3rd gear is almost to the same point. I had the same problem six months ago but the dealer was able to adjust it for me. It's been fine until now. This time I'd like to attempt the fix myself. Please learn me on the process.

TIA

Default Ugghhh fine.

Remove shift ****
Remove shift surround
Remove central cover(s) around the shifter
There will be a large allenbolt (I think size 10)
Loosen the bolt just a little.
Move the shifter up a little.
Tighten bolt.
Test gears.
Repeat loosening the bolt and adjusting the shifter. Keep testing to see what works for joooo!

I would just get somone local to do it for me for a beer. Takes like 3 minutes literally.

Default Here's a pic from Mark P's website. It clearly shows you the two 6mm bolts you need to make sure

are tightened. Reference the third to last pic there to see what you will encounter.

Mark P's shifter pics.

Default no prob at all, that's what it's there for. I think my memory about 7mm was...

that was the size that most kits did not include in their set, but the one that I bought did. Or maybe it was something else, I forget. oh well...
