Default Shifter question (STFA'd)
Seems like both S4s I've driven in the past have this weird problem that the shifter shakes when it's in gear. Thought maybe the first one was just well-used, but my baby w/ only 20k on it does the same thing. Curious if A) this is a known problem and B) any1 is familiar w/ a way to fix it? Thanks

Default it seems to be normal. you can reduce it by..
installing a shortshifter (i recommend toy guy), and further by installing a DTS (drivetrain stabilizer).

or get a tip.

Default thats perfectly normal it moves..you shouldnt have your hand resting on the shifter while ingear tho
as owner manual states...may cause premature wear on the tranny...
