Default shortshifter opinions?

Looking to install a shortshifter in my '01 S4. I'm as concerned about getting rid of the rubbery shift feel as I am about reducing the throw.

The two favorites seem to be the tanoga and the UUC. The UUC can obviously be installed with a shorter throw, but what about feel? Opinions?

Love my UUC at 40 percent, but I hear Tanoga is tops.

Either one you'll get a crisper feel - what's key is getting the adjustment right
