here is the carfax...the title is clean but it has been in an accident....the severity i'm going to try to find out, but it was over $1000 and reported to the ins company.....

the car will be certified through audi has 43K miles on it and the asking price is $23.9K...

should i pass or not??? the thing that scares me is that the car went down to fl for new registration....can the "wash" the title???? if it was totalled in the first place???
i don't think audi would certify a car that had that before, but you never know and i don't want to be the fool...any ideas??

you can find plenty of clean s4's for that price... in the second month it was sold at auction.. listed as repo

just be patient and you will find a good car..

I hate carfax (I use a service called Autocheck daily) because it gathers so much useless info about a car. mileage reports from Jiffy Lube are not something you should base a vehicle purchase off of. As for the accident......as long as the paint looks good and the frame measure ok then I say buy it. Any reputable body shop can measure the car with a laser frame check machine for less than $100.
