Hello Audi Fans,
The boost develops quickly and always stops
around 15 lbs. on the gauge. Is this normal for
the X ? I'm not throwing any fault codes.
You can hear the turbos whine when spooling up.
I'm at almost 55k mi. is it true the turbos are
covered to 70K ?

Sounds like you have the 1 bar S chip, could that be it? if so then that's what is expected

I've had it in since I bought the car 1.5 years ago.
PES put it in spring 2003. My first mod.
Maybe I should look into getting the latest GIAC software upgrade ?

If you can keep that many mistresses you must
be a superman ! They say if you have an S4 you have to pay to play. My wife is jealous of my car.
The search revealed several people have exactly
the same thing happening after having the x chip in
a while. No solutions yet though.

Your a different situation, but others have been provided the S chip as a new X chip version trying to eliminate their issues.

You were provided an S chip, can you open up the ECU and give us the numbers on the EPROM? Jeff Moss, Piggie or others might be able to assist here.

to rip people off .. paying for one thing and getting something less installed. I'll look for those numbers
