Default Should i pull my exterior accessory fan? need help/advice

when i had my EFK installed last winter, i had no idea that these 2 may not work properly together. sometin about (push/pull effect), bottom line, in these 90 deg + days with the AC on and rollin in slow traffic and even in light to light driving, i'm seeing my water temps. climb past half way mark (i'm not comfy with that...and oil temps follow to 240). NOTE! these are on short rides..20-25 min.
i'm gonna go ahead and change my coolant/water mix to more water ofcourse but im just wondering if some of you folks just got rid of that exterior fan and if it helped.
TIA

Default This gent has the 16"EFK, and still has the accessory fan in place,

Please offer guidance.

You have a 16" fan pulling against a small 10" fan that's pushing. also the 16" fan is really sucking against a metal obstruction.

I don't have overheat problems, and his situation doesn't sound normal with the same 16" fan that I have, so thoughts?

Default Interesting... hadn't considered that the EFK would be restricted by the front fan...

but it could be the case. If the 16" EFK is that much more effective than the stock fan (is it? seems like it should be.) then you probably don't need that front fan.

You could yank it and put an oil cooler in its place.

Default the car isnt' giving me enough time to run the EFK...more

i was told to only run the EFK in stand still traffic or very slow moving conditions 10-15 mph. as per PAT, you're not supposed to run the EFK at 20-30 mph, that would be counterproductive. so as i'm on the move light to light driving, efk is off, and my temps just go past normal zone right away. IT SUCKS! if i had to do it all over again i'd never make that mistake... a gain of maybe 5 hp and a ton of headaches..screw that!!
