S4 / RS4 (B5 Platform) Discussion Discussion forum for the B5 Audi S4 & RS4 produced from 1998-2002

Since there seem to be a lot of questions on how N75 vs MBC vs Both affect boost, I drew this up...

Default I'm running GAIC X, so I don't see any deviation codes, but I don't run much higher than 18-19 PSI

on my k03s

Hello I'm a new member in here, I still don't have my S4, but I'm gonna be getting it in the next month or two, it's a gonna be a B5 Torino blue with alcantara nogaro interiors it looks too good, so to make a short story short, the first mod that goes in there will be a boost gauge just to check the condition of the turbos if they are fine I'm planning to install an MBC to raise the boost to 12 PSI my questions are:

1)will the ECU be allright after the increase? I mean fuel and air ratios will be fine at 12 PSI on stock program?

2) Does the MBC in parallel with N75 raises the boost? or do I need to disconnect the vaccum lines completely and connect them to the MBC and leave the connector atthaced to N75 in order to raise boost?

3) if I want MBC only how do I installe it, which one is better to get to 12 PSI???
Thanks for your replies.

Just get a chipped ecu with Stage 1 software off the classifieds. You'll be much happier
