Default Since we're reposting for the Weeday Crowd.... Mixed Interrior Trim Colours...

Alright... I've got a Silver Sedan with all black leather interrior, non sport, thus I have the brown wood trim.

I have managed to scrouge together a complete extra set of trim pieces. Silver Beltline and wood/black center pieces.

I want to install the Silver Belt Line trim, but make the center console (Hazzard Surround, Ash Tray, Shifter Surround) a different color.

My choises are:
Matte Black
Piano Black
Carbon Fiber
Other.

What are you thoughts on these combos? Would the CF look odd with the Silver belt line?

Opinions Please!

Default My first thought when I read "carbon fiber" ->

Absolutely don't mix CF with silver beltline, it will definitely look odd. Since the Sport center pieces are already a matte-ish finish, I'd say go with piano black, plus I think it looks good. Check Josh's PP (BlackS4TT) to see this combo. Whatever you do, don't put the CF in there with silver. IMO, it's all CF or no CF.

Default There was a post the other day with tha mix of CF and sport or other

was not bad..

The trim was all sport I believe, and the shifter surround was CF.. I believe.

I would like to do piano black to replace my ash, but then I also like my ash

Default only thing I think would look good with the sport alum. beltline is matte black,,,,

as S4 kid said, either all or non on the carbon, or even like my car, I have the carbon in the dash and the stock matte black on the center console... I also don't think the gloss of the piano black will look good either,,,, especially right around the hazard where the alum , piano, and matte black (radio) would all meet.
